Soultan Al-Halifa
Director, Research & Development, Biopharmaceutical Chemistry Feldan Therapeutics
Soultan has a Ph.D. in molecular engineering, organic, mineral, and industrial chemistry from the university of Montpellier (France). Soultan is currently working as Director of R&D in Biopharmaceutical Chemistry at Feldan Therapeutics (Quebec – Canada), with a strong background in drug delivery systems for therapeutic applications. Soultan leads a multidisciplinary team focusing on the development of drug delivery platforms for biomedical applications, translate R&D projects into clinical applications, and manage intellectual property creation. Previous roles include Project Manager and Research Specialist II at Feldan, where they set up a new chemistry laboratory, assembled and led scientific teams, oversaw analytical studies for preclinical research, and contributed to patent development. Earlier, Soultan held postdoctoral research positions at the University of Quebec at Montreal (Canada) and KU Leuven (Belgium), focusing on peptide-based nanomaterials, nanovaccines, and biomaterials for drug delivery and tissue engineering.
